Jeffery Allen Knapp

TEQUESTA, FL — Jeffery A. Knapp, 68, of Tequesta, FL passed away peacefully at the Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Placid, FL on Monday, October 2, 2023.

Jeff attended Greenfield Public School as well as The Bement School in Deerfield.

In his younger years, Jeff was a well known New York fashion model. He appeared in both print ads and commercials.

He was an avid runner and skier, Boston Bruins fan and a lover of all Golden Retrievers.

Jeff is survived by his son Ridgley Knapp of Chicago, his sisters, Barbara Knapp (Terry Boyce) of Turners Falls and Amy Stanton (Peter Brown) of Braintree. His nieces Hailey and Jillian Stanton, his uncle Richard Putnam, and many cousins including Elizabeth Bushnell. Jeff was predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Beverly (Putnam) Knapp, his aunt Bunny Foley, his cousin Brian Bushnell, his best friend Melissa, and his loyal dogs Woody, Lucy and Jessie as well as his cats Brady and Reno.

Jeff’s family would like to thank the staff at Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation for their warmth and compassionate care.
